How do I find my ring size without a ring sizer?

Wrap a thread or a narrow paper strip around the base of the finger, mark where it meets, then measure the length in millimetres with a ruler. That measurement is the circumference: read it in our chart to get the North American size.

How do I measure using a ring she already wears?

Place the ring on a ruler and measure the inside diameter, inner edge to inner edge, in millimetres. A 17.3 mm diameter equals a size 7. Use a ring worn on the ring finger, never the thumb or index.
